Dave Comer

Dave serves as the Chief Operating Officer of D2D, bringing over 35 years of extensive experience in the electrical industry. A Red Seal Electrical Journeyman, Master Electrician, Class A Field Safety Representative (FSR), and Level 3 Unrestricted Utility Work Leader, he has built a distinguished career rooted in industrial and commercial electrical contracting. David began his contracting journey in 1994, following valuable experience with Martech Electric, Westwood Electric, Fluor Canada, and Chemco Electric. Over the years, he has contributed to a wide range of complex projects, including power generation facilities, pulp and saw mills, upgraders, refineries, co-generation plants, utility substations (both construction and maintenance), manufacturing facilities, warehouse material handling systems, and industrial maintenance operations. Since founding his contracting business, David has successfully grown it from a small electrical services provider into a multifaceted organization operating across both high- and low-voltage sectors. He has also played a key role in advancing innovation within the company, leading the development of the D2D Asset Management Software solution and driving meaningful digital transformation for clients across diverse industries.
